British singer Jessie J has shared a sensitive and personal story with her Instagram followers, revealing that she has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer.
In a video released on June 3, she said:
"I want to share something with my fans and the people who love me. I am who I am, because I have always shared everything I have experienced."
"Before the song 'No Secrets' was released, I was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer."
She added that she has done all possible checks.
“I emphasize the word ‘early stage.’ Cancer is terrible in any form, but this gives me strength. All this time I have been doing endless tests.”
"I haven't talked about it much... but I feel better when I share it with others."
She expressed that she wants to be open and share her experience, not only for herself, but also for others:
"I don't talk about this enough. I haven't had time to process it as information, because I've been working too hard."
But I know how much it has helped me in the past, when I have shared with others the things I have been through.
"Everyone has given me love, support, and told me their stories."
