Men often think that women care about some "vital details" that they don't even notice. Here are some of the things that stress men out unnecessarily because we - women - don't have them on our list of important things:
1. Length
Yes, we've heard of "he must be taller than me in heels." But in reality, a 5'7" man with confidence, who knows how to carry himself, makes us perceive him as a mountain high. Height? It's a bonus, not a criterion.
2. Muscles (or lack thereof)
This is for the eyes, not the heart. Abs don't help when you're in an emotional crisis. Be kind, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent—much sexier than any biceps.
3. Cars
We're sorry, but your luxury car doesn't appeal to us more than a clean and functional Polo. For us, financial stability is worth more than shiny chrome.
4. Hair (or lack thereof)
It's not the receding hairline that's the problem – it's the panic that comes with it. Some men have epic battles with baldness, while some women can't wait to see you without hair. Honestly – it looks sexy on a lot of men.
5. The idea that you have to be "alpha"
Often, this need to show “masculine strength” seems more like a performance to other men than to us. We are more interested in partnership than dominance.
6. The tricks to make us your own
No, a teasing line from a 2005 romantic comedy won't work. Just be yourself. Originality and sincerity are more powerful than any rhyming phrase.
7. The game of "hard to reach"
You've got the role mixed up. We don't have time for "cold strategy" games. If you're not interested, we're fine with moving on with a new series on Netflix.
8. Impress us with your wealth
Money? It's nice to have, but character is worth more. We're not looking for a bank – we're looking for a man who knows how to manage life and money, without making the whole conversation about the wallet.
9. That you have to fix everything
You're not Super Mario with magic keys. Every now and then, just listen – not solve everything. If you don't know how to install a mirror, call a professional. We'll be calmer.
10. That you don't have the "coolest job"
We don't care about the title, but how you feel about what you do. A man who is happy in his job, who takes responsibility and has consistency – is much more attractive than an empty title.
11. That you have "weird" hobbies
Lego? Anime? Cosplay ? Miracle! Passion is much more attractive than forced normality. Be yourself – because otherwise you will be exhausted wearing a mask that is not yours.
