Taylor Swift and Blake Lively are reportedly still not speaking to each other, despite Justin Baldoni withdrawing his request for the pop star to testify in court in the legal battle he is waging with his colleague, Blake Lively.
"There has been total silence between Taylor and Blake since the subpoena was dropped," a source told US Weekly, adding: "They will not pick up their friendship where they left off because of the emotional toll it carries."

Justin Baldoni initially included Taylor Swift in his defamation and blackmail counterclaim against Blake Lively, after claiming that the "Gossip Girl" actress had used her friendship with the famous singer to gain control over their 2024 film.
He alleged in the lawsuit obtained by Page Six that Lively had included Taylor and her husband, Ryan Reynolds — whom she affectionately called her "dragons" — in a meeting to rewrite the script, making Baldon feel "forced" to agree to the changes the actress requested.
"The message was very clear. Justin wasn't just dealing with Blake. He was also dealing with her 'dragons', two of the most influential and wealthy celebrities in the world, who had no problem making his life difficult," the actor's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, previously stated.

The counterclaim was a response to the lawsuit filed by Blake Lively, where she accused her colleague of sexual harassment.
As for Taylor, she was formally subpoenaed earlier this month, forcing the "Fortnight" singer's representative to categorically deny that she was ever involved in "casting" or "creative decisions" on the film "It Ends With Us."
The legal drama immediately caused an even deeper rift between the singer and actress, and a source told People that "their friendship has ended," as Taylor will not be part of any drama.
Baldoni's team then unexpectedly withdrew the subpoena for Taylor Swift just a few weeks later.
