PSG victory: Paris burns

Hundreds of people have been arrested in the French capital after PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) won 5-0 against Inter in the Champions League final. Around 300 fans were arrested after clashing with police over wild celebrations.

Chaos ensued on the streets, where although most fans celebrated peacefully, there were still many clashes. PSG won the award for the first time in history and the event saw the Eiffel Tower light up in the team's colours.

Turkey: Opposition members arrested on suspicion of corruption

Turkish police have arrested four members of the Republican People's Party and mayors of three different districts in Istanbul. In total, 30 people were arrested on suspicion of corruption.

Their arrest comes after the mayor and Erdogan's rival, Ekrem Imamoglu, was also charged and arrested. At the time, the incident sparked widespread protests, with people demanding the mayor's release and a more democratic approach in the country.

Gaza: Dozens of people killed while seeking aid

At least 26 Palestinians were killed on June 1 as they were collecting food at an aid center in the Gaza Strip. Witnesses at the scene said Israeli forces opened fire unprovoked on the crowd, which was about 1 km from the aid center.

There has been no immediate response from Israeli authorities. The foundation that was supposed to receive the aid has responded, saying that the aid was distributed without incident, denying claims that there was such an attack.

Canary Islands: 7 migrants lose their lives

Seven migrants from West Africa, including children, died after their boat capsized off the coast of Spain's Canary Islands. Two 5-year-old girls and a 16-year-old boy were among the victims of the tragedy, emergency services said.

They died after the boat carrying the migrants capsized. Although citizens and rescue teams tried to help them, they were still unsuccessful. This is one of the many tragedies that have recently occurred in the Canary Islands, as the number of migrants arriving, especially from Africa, has increased significantly.
