A former personal assistant to Sean "Diddy" Combs testified Thursday in federal court in Manhattan, stating that P.Diddy, known among staff as "Puff," forced her to work nonstop and sexually assaulted her several times during the years she worked for him, from 2009 to 2017.

The woman, identified by the pseudonym “Mia” (previously known as “Victim-4” in the federal indictment), recounted an incident at a 2010 party hosted by singer Prince after the Emmy Awards. She said Prince’s bodyguards intervened to stop P.Diddy from physically assaulting Cassie Ventura.

Mia testified that the period she worked for Diddy coincided with his relationship with the singer, one of the women he is accused of sexually and physically abusing. According to her, Combs exercised strict control over Cassie's activities, appearance and music career, and part of her duties included "keeping an eye on her."

"When we did something without Puff's permission, the punishment was unexpected and scary," Mia testified, adding that over time, she and Cassie became like sisters.

Prince's party and the scary escape

She recounted one night when Combs asked her to stay at a hotel with Cassie while he claimed he was spending time with his kids. A friend of theirs called to let them know that Prince was throwing a party.

“We argued like little kids, discussing whether we should run away or not,” Mia recalled.

In the end, the pair decided to go to the party secretly.

Although they were having some great times, the party didn't last long for Mian and Cassie, as P.Diddy realized they had run away. But everything changed when he arrived at the party.

Mia said she saw him from afar, while Cassie, as soon as she found out Combs was there, got scared and ran to get away.

“I saw him, I ran out of the party as fast as I could,” Cassie testified. “I knew he was mad.”

Afterwards, she said he followed her.

Prince's attack and security breach

Mia said that the two tried to escape, but "Puff grabbed Cassie."

"He knocked her to the ground and started attacking her," she said.

According to her, Prince's security guards intervened immediately and stopped the attack. Mia said that she did not return to the hotel that night, but went somewhere else.

The next day, a human resources representative informed him that he had been suspended without pay for attending the party with Ventura.

"Puff said I was disobedient," Mia confessed.

Violence documented by multiple witnesses

Later, at Ventura's hotel in Beverly Hills, Combs allegedly forced his way into her room and brutally beat her, causing a black eye, a bruise on her head and a gash on her lip, according to testimony from Cassie and her friend, Mylah Morales.

“He insulted me with harsh words and raped me,” testified Cassie, who was in an 11-year relationship with Combs and is now a key witness in this trial.

On May 28, she gave birth to her third child with her husband, Alex Fine.

During the trial, several of Combs' former employees, including assistants, stylists and colleagues, testified that they witnessed his violence against Cassie over the years.
