If you've seen a cute kangaroo standing calmly at an airport, plane ticket in hand and a more reserved face than most of us before passport control, you're not alone. The video has gone viral with millions of views and comments that can't get enough of virtually petting this cute traveler.

But there's one small problem: it's not true!
Yes, we're sorry to break your dream, but the kangaroo with big eyes, a high degree of education and a clear passion for travel was created entirely by artificial intelligence. The video, which was originally posted on Instagram by the page "Infinite Unreality", is one of their many clips that create strange and slightly impossible realities - like a hippopotamus sitting in a plane seat or a giraffe standing in line at an airport.
In this case, the video shows a woman arguing with an airline employee, while the kangaroo stands miraculously calm and obedient next to her – ticket in hand, ready to board the plane.
But many viewers, in addition to being amazed by the animal's cuteness, believed the image to be real. "Better behaved than most passengers I know," one commented on Instagram. Another added: "Tag me when he reaches his destination."
However, some of the more observant followers raised questions about the authenticity of the scene. And rightly so – because how many times have you seen a kangaroo in line for check-in ?
This video, although created for entertainment, brings to mind a very serious debate: how easily can we be fooled by AI-generated content? The images are increasingly realistic, the details are increasingly accurate, and the line between fact and fiction is becoming increasingly blurred. Ryanair also responded to X with a scathing comment – ??further evidence that even airlines are not escaping the new digital reality.
