Demi Lovato and Jordan Lutes are officially married! The couple met in the music studio in January 2022, while working together on Dem's album, "Holy Fvck." After nearly two years of dating, Jordan proposed to the former Disney star in December 2023, with a pear-shaped diamond ring.
This weekend, their wedding took place in California and the couple said "I do" to love. The bride walked down the aisle wearing a white Vivienne Westwood dress, made of heavy silk satin and with a corset-style bodice.
"I've been a fan of Vivienne Westwood's designs for a long time," Demi told Vogue, adding that she returned to Vivienne's creations whenever she thought about the ideal dress.
Working with her stylist, Jill Jacobs, Demi completed the look with a long white veil.
The dress was created by Vivienne Westwood's couture team, who traveled from London to Los Angeles to fulfill Demi's vision. The process began with a photo of a Westwood dress that Demi had seen online. The image served as a starting point, with some alterations to the bodice, to create a model that fit the singer.
"Not only did we start from that initial inspiration, but we also added details that make this dress very special to me," she said.
The model was partly inspired by 18th-century aristocratic women, while the lower form was inspired by Greek sculptures.
Demi also wore another dress from the same brand, with pearls and an asymmetrical neckline. The attention to detail is fantastic and the elements are hand-sewn.
