Following accusations of being involved in illegal activities in Australia, Elvis Pupa has made a lengthy response on his social media, clarifying the truth about himself and his wife, Belina Pupa. The actor began his response by first denying the news that he had fled Australia and was wanted:

"I am forced to react after some false and malicious news circulating in the media, according to which I have allegedly 'escaped' and 'am wanted'. I want to make it very clear: I have been in Tirana for more than a month, where I am carrying out regular professional engagements, planned in Albania and beyond in Europe."

He then stated that attempts to distort this situation are deliberate manipulations:

"Any attempt to present this situation differently is pure manipulation of information, a deliberate misinterpretation aimed at making news where there is nothing extraordinary."

Pupa further explained that his wife, Belina, continues her professional activity freely and, like her, Elvis agrees that it is up to justice to have the last word.

Further, the actor addressed the "serious misuse of the news, aimed at sensationalism and clickbait" that they have encountered in the last two days.

"Our lives are public, but that doesn't give anyone the right to abuse people's dignity," he said.

In the end, Elvis Pupa said that life continues normally and thanked all the people who had shown him support during this situation.
