Hailey Bieber is tired of having her life scrutinized, especially after the birth of her first child with husband Justin Bieber.
In an interview with Vogue published today, May 20, the Rhode brand founder, 28, opened up about the hate she's been receiving in recent months and the ongoing speculation about her marriage. She and Justin, 31, welcomed their son, Jack Blues, in August 2024.
"Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I've ever been through in my life. Learning a new version of myself is so hard. Meanwhile, dealing with this every day by picking up the phone (surfing the internet) and seeing people saying, 'They're getting divorced' and 'they're unhappy', is a crazy overload for (my) mind."
She added that she can't even find the words to describe this moment and that it is a very strange period.
Hailey also talked about the process of accepting her post-baby body and the joy she feels every morning when she wakes up next to her family, whom she described as “so beautiful.”
Hailey treated her mental health like a “muscle that needs to be exercised.” She found a therapist, faced her feelings, took the supplements they recommended, and accepted the mood swings that hormones cause. She said she didn’t always recognize her body and faced a new self-image, which was followed by a level of “hate” she had never experienced before. However, she has found some affirmations that she tells herself every day,
"Every day I have to say to myself: Hailey, you brought a child into the world. You are raising a human being. You brought a human being into the world. It's okay. Send yourself kindness. Give yourself time," she said.
Hailey and Justin have often faced rumors of problems in their marriage, although there has been no confirmation/denial from them. We also recall that Hailey has often been attacked online, especially by people who simply cannot accept that Justin and Selena Gomez have broken up and that each has moved on with their own lives.
