The media has released shocking photos of the injuries Cassie Ventura allegedly suffered from the violence inflicted by her ex-partner, Sean “Diddy” Combs. The images were presented as evidence last week during the rapper’s ongoing trial.

The photo shows Cassie with bruises on her back and thigh, a deep cut above her eyebrow, and swollen lips from the beating.

In some of the images, the singer is seen wearing large sunglasses, in an attempt to hide the injuries.

“This is me. I put on big sunglasses… because I had a black eye under it. I was trying to cover it up,” Cassie testified in the courtroom. She is now 41, married and pregnant with her third child.

Two of the photos were taken by her mother in December 2011. In them, Cassie has visible bruises on her lower back and right thigh, injuries that, according to her, occurred after P.Diddy discovered the relationship she had with rapper Kid Cudi.

Other images, where Cassie appears with a deep cut on her eyebrow, date back to 2013. She says she suffered this injury during the violence the rapper inflicted on her bedroom, causing her face to hit the corner of the bed.

Also shown during the trial was a video of the 2016 assault, first released by CNN in May 2024. Hotel security camera footage shows P.Diddy dragging Cassie down a hallway. At one point, he grabs her by the back of the head, slams her to the ground and kicks her several times before dragging her back up again, holding her by the hood of her sweatshirt.
