It happened "completely out of nowhere"...at least seemingly.
After the release of Elvana Gjata's newest music video, "Lumja toka", where the artist appears with a style inspired by traditional Albanian clothing (mainly the Mirdita area), folkloric carpets, and scenes of village life, Dafina Zeqiri posted several stories that did not go unnoticed. But this is not an ordinary post. Dafina posted moments from her music video "Million", released in 2020, where the same things happen:
- clothing inspired by tradition
- carpets with traditional motifs in the background
- village settings
- animals

In some parallel universe, this could be just a coincidence. But in this Albanian showbiz? Hardly. Dafina has not given any comment because she does not need to. The posts speak for themselves. Apparently, she wants to highlight either that she was the first with this aesthetic in music videos, or that Elvana copied her, or both.
The latter reacted by saying:
“Like a camera following me day and night.”
