The awards are scheduled for May 26 at the BleauLive Theater in Las Vegas, so the singer has just under two weeks to recover. Jennifer Lopez is set to make a comeback to the AMAs stage, ten years after she was the first host in 2015.
The "Let's Get Loud" singer's return to the stage was announced on April 9 by Jay Penske, who noted that "Jennifer's extraordinary talent and unparalleled stage presence make her an ideal host for the show."
