Today starts Eurovision 2025 and Albania is 12th on the list for live performance. As you may know, this year we are worthily represented by “Zjerm” – Shkodra Elektronike, a group consisting of Beatriçe Gjergji and Kolë Laca.
First on the list is Iceland, followed by Poland and Slovenia. Before Albania, San Marino will take the stage, and after the performance of "Zjerm" Claude will follow with "C'est La Vie", the representative song of Norway.
The first phase closes with the Cypriot song, "Shh" by Theo Evan.
Shkodra Elektronike has shared the experience of the preliminary Eurovision auditions, stating that foreigners really liked the sound of the Albanian language.
"Abroad, people have been amazed by the way our language sounds. This confirms that with melody, music and a very beautiful arrangement, emotions are created, without understanding words, emotions are shown. This is the beautiful thing about Eurovision, we get to hear many languages, including ours, and we are very pleased," said Beatrice.
Shkodra Elektronike is very popular with Eurovision fans and ranks convincingly in many polls conducted by Eurovision. The people and the band themselves are very enthusiastic about participating.
As for the stage appearance, Bea and Kola's costumes were created by Beatrice's mother, stylist Irina Dema, in collaboration with the brand "Tamel Clothes".
