Shkodra Elektronike's manager clarifies the "record budget"

In an exclusive connection for ANDALE Media on the UëTëFë Show , the young people spoke directly with Olsi Sulejmani, the manager of the Albanian representative in Eurovision, the much-discussed Shkodra Elektronike project.

Sulejmani confirmed that preparations for the big night are on track – with a special dedication to technical and artistic details.

"The third and final rehearsal went very well," he declared, underlining that the beginnings were not without challenges. Technical issues such as lighting and microphones were identified in the early stages, but, as the manager said, "intensive work has been done to ensure that everything is at the highest possible level."

One of the most intriguing elements of the performance is the scenography: a cubic structure that, the manager confirmed, “represents the planimetry seen from above of the psychiatric hospital in Shkodra.” A bold, conceptual choice that enters into a deep dialogue with the narrative of the performance.

On stage, the separation between Beatrice and Kola is not just a choreographic placement – ??it symbolizes the duality between dream and reality. This artistic element confirms the innovation and vision that this project brings to Eurovision this year.

Finally, another topic that has been circulating in the media was touched upon: the allusions to a record budget of 150 thousand euros for Albania's participation in Eurovision.

The manager of Shkodra Elektronik dismissed these claims as untrue, saying that the figure of 150 thousand euros is not the highest in the history of Albania.

"Budgets are approved much earlier, before it is known who wins the RTSH Festival. The budget has been the same as the last 5-6 years - with an annual increase of 5-10 thousand euros. For this year, the budget went to about 160 thousand euros and we spent about 140", he said transparently.

The call ended with a warm greeting from Beatrice herself, who, amidst emotions, told us that she can't wait to take the stage.

Albania will perform on the first night of the Eurovision semi-final, on May 13, 12th in the standings.
