Bebe Rexha has spoken openly about her struggles with infertility and coping with polycystic ovary syndrome, known as PCOS.
In a now-deleted post on X, the 35-year-old singer and songwriter responded to negative comments about her weight after appearing at the 2025 Met Gala. Rexha said she was "tired" of the comments and then revealed that she had experienced a miscarriage.
"I'm so tired of comments about my weight," she said. "I have PCOS and deal with infertility. I got pregnant, but it didn't go well and I kept that pain in silence," adding that people should think twice before commenting on other people's bodies.
The "Born Again" singer made her debut at fashion's biggest night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 5. Rexha wore an all-black outfit designed by Christian Siriano, in keeping with the Met Gala 2025 theme: "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style."

In May 2023, during an interview on Gayle King's SiriusXM show, "Gayle King in the House," the singer spoke about her experience with PCOS - a hormonal imbalance that affects 1 in 10 women of reproductive age.
"I definitely have issues with weight and appearance and it's been hard for me. I just recently found out I have PCOS and a lot of women have it. A lot of women have it and don't know it," said Bebe, noting that weight gain is a common symptom she deals with.

Polycystic ovary syndrome is caused by an imbalance of androgens. PCOS can disrupt your menstrual cycle. Acne, hair growth, weight gain, and dark spots on your skin are other symptoms of the condition. PCOS can increase your risk of infertility, metabolic syndrome, sleep apnea, endometrial cancer, and depression.
PCOS can make it harder for a woman to get pregnant and increase the risk of pregnancy complications and miscarriage. Weight loss and other treatments can improve the chances of having a healthy pregnancy.
