Shkodra Elektronike's Eurovision 2025 outfit: Details and symbolism

The outfit that Shkodra Elektronike will perform at Eurovision 2025 is a combination of contemporary fashion and strong symbolism from Albanian legends, specifically that of Rozafa. The outfit, created by Irina Dema (Beatrice Gjergji's mother), has several special elements.

One of the most interesting details is the right side of the dress, designed to resemble the anatomy of the human body, including blood vessels. This design is related to the request of Rozafa, who, according to legend, asked before being buried that her right eye, hand, breast, and leg be left outside so that she could see, caress, breastfeed, and rock her son in the cradle.

The left side of the dress contrasts with the right side. The dress has an asymmetrical structure and is made of materials that shine, creating a powerful visual effect. This makes the outfit attractive for an international stage like Eurovision.

Meanwhile, Kolë Laca comes dressed in a black suit that seems to represent the fortress of Shkodra. The color tones also match the theme of the song, "Zjerm".

Kolë Laca and Beatriçe Gjergji are two Albanian immigrants who grew up in Italy, far from their hometown of Shkodra. This detail adds a personal and authentic nuance to the performance.

Their attire is an example of how art can unite cultural heritage and fashion, transforming a well-known Albanian legend into a powerful visual and emotional moment.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland, following Nemo's victory with the song "The Code" last year. The contest will be held on 13–17 May.
