Dafina Zeqiri, who is expecting a baby, will hold her last concert before giving birth. She made an emotional post on Threads, where she said:
"This Saturday I have my last concert for a while (undetermined). I'm a little emotional, because I don't know when I'll be back to perform live again, but the projects won't stop."
"There are many good things on the way, 1 very nice surprise for this summer (I'm not talking about the others, I'm leaving it to time). I can't wait to enjoy live together once again - until next time. I love you so much," she concluded the post.
Dafina announced the news of her pregnancy in January of this year, announcing that she is expecting a boy.
The singer has often been criticized for her club performances, to the point where she responded through an Instagram post.
"I am pregnant and continue to perform in concerts, because that is why I started this journey in the first place. Since childhood, performance and music have been therapy for me - they have helped me cope with depression, express myself freely, and face life's challenges, whether emotional or physical. Even when I have not felt well, the stage has been my place of healing," she wrote.
Dafina added that girls and women should do what they love during pregnancy, as this is not a period where life stops: "I do this work not for money, but out of pure love for music and art. I believe that every woman has the right and power to continue her career during pregnancy, as long as she is healthy and has a safe pregnancy. Being pregnant does not mean that you are sick or that you have to stop your life."
