Singer Bebe Rexha has reacted strongly on her social media after several media outlets, including the Daily Mail, shared photos of her in a serious health condition.
In her Instagram posts, Bebe expresses anger at the way photographers followed and photographed her outside the hospital, while she had stomach pains and was hospitalized for three days.
"I know it's a photo of me that's getting attention because of my appearance. I've been in the hospital for the last three days with a bad stomach ache and that was the day I was going to be admitted. Who stands outside a hospital to take pictures of people coming in?! When will photographers stop taking advantage of women in their most difficult moments?! I'm furious. You can't even stay calm when you're sick," Bebe wrote in one of her posts.
In another story, she directs strong criticism at the Daily Mail and journalist Sonia Horon, calling their manipulative article and the journalist's professional ethics unacceptable.
“@dailymail, you are truly disgusting. You knew those photos were taken outside the hospital. Who takes pictures of sick people entering the hospital and then focuses the article on their appearance?! Why didn't you say I was entering the hospital?! Because you know it's wrong. @soniahoron, especially as a woman, you should feel ashamed. Disgusting!” Bebe wrote.
