The jellyfish haircut is one of the most unusual and daring hair trends to have become popular in recent years. Although the name may sound strange, the look of the haircut is reminiscent of the shape of a jellyfish, with a short section in front and a longer section in the back, which makes it distinctive and unique.
Originating from the Heian period (794 to 1185) of Japan, it was adapted by Cher in 1968, is a hairstyle beloved by the anime world, and until recently was popular among teenagers in South Korea and Japan.
But the craze for this style has reached Hollywood, with many celebrities sporting it. Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish even appeared with this haircut at this year's Grammy Awards.
It can be combined with bangs, as in the case of Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga, to further emphasize the gradient in different lengths.
