You've probably never heard of "gleeking" (adapted to "gleek") - a strange and unpleasant bodily function that seemingly anyone can do.
"Gleeking" is the ability to spray saliva from glands located under the tongue, in a motion that resembles the venom a cobra sprays.
Doctors estimate that about a third (35 percent) of people may "squirt" this way accidentally.
In fact, to our horror, this bodily function can occur as we open our mouths from drowsiness, leading to an embarrassing splash of people and objects nearby.
However, experts add that anyone can learn how to do this, if for some reason they want to; and as ridiculous as it may sound, TikTok is obsessed with trying to perform this action that when it happens naturally makes us so embarrassed!
If you are one of these people, here's how to intentionally "overdo it", completely without any valid reason for your life:
1. Open your mouth several times, like before bed, to stimulate saliva.
2. Eat a sour candy to further stimulate the salivary glands.
3. Drink water to hydrate your mouth.
4. Purse your lips together and take a deep breath through your mouth.
5. Stretch your tongue well above the roof of your mouth and hold it there.
6. With your mouth open, push your lower jaw forward.
Congratulations! You can now intentionally overtake anyone if previously it would have happened without your approval.

“I can’t do it on command, it only happens when I don’t want to,” one person wrote on TikTok. “Seriously, did I wiggle my tongue trying to do this?!” wrote another. One user even detailed that her brother used the ability to torture her. “My brother always does this when we’re in serious situations,” she said.

Now that you are aware of this ability, we allow you to do whatever you want with this information, taken from the "Information we don't need, but why wouldn't we know it?" cycle.
