Lenny Kravitz is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful rock stars on earth, but don't tell that to his daughter, Zoë Kravitz, who might see it as a "disgrace."
According to the "Fly Away" singer, his daughter never thought he was cute.
"She appreciates me for who I am, but she will always laugh when I get compliments because she sees me as a child to a father, not the other way around. They [the children] will never see you the way all the other people see you.”
Zoë Kravitz, meanwhile, is a star in her own right, as she's a popular actress, singer/songwriter and, most recently, director, and she's even been credited for the song she co-wrote with her friend Taylor Swift, "Lavender Haze." She also has no problem publicly showering her father with love, like in March 2024 when he was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“Since you were so young when I was born, in many ways, we've grown up together. We've been through a lot. We have seen a lot. I have seen a lot. I've seen you change in the most beautiful ways, I've seen you stay the same in the most important ways. I've seen the way you show up and take care of the people you love. I've seen your incredible dedication to your art,” she began her speech before joking, “But mostly, I've seen through your see-through shirts. According to my dad, if your nipples aren't exposed, you're not wearing a shirt."
The rocker took the teasing in stride, later telling Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that his daughter's jokes were "pretty sarcastic."
