Bad Bunny had mixed feelings about human growth and aging.
During an interview on 'The Zane Lowe Show', the Latin music star, 30, opened up about aging and how he first felt "depressed" 10 years ago when he turned 20.
"I'm still young, but I just turned 30," Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, told host Zane Lowe.
"I remember when I turned 20, I was depressed. I thought I was going to die. It was the end of my life. I was, 'Oh my God, I'm 20 years old! I'm an old man, I'm about to die!'"
At that time, he was studying and working simultaneously in a grocery store. But he credits his thought process to being a "very emotional person."
"Sometimes I overthink everything," said Bad Bunny. "I'm just learning not to think too much and trust life and God and the process and everything and enjoy the moment. But now I'm 30, people start asking you, are you going to get married? Are you going to have kids? And you start to think, 'Am I wrong?'"
Now, the musician of "MONACO" has found himself "reflecting" with age.
"I've been reflecting on my whole life, my history and also my career," Bad Bunny said. "I'm turning 10 in this industry. And it's crazy, because sometimes I feel like I'm a newbie, like this is my first year! This is my first album."
Elsewhere in the conversation, the "Diles" performer expressed that he is a "shy person."
"It's always been hard for me to make friends," Bad Bunny said. "That's why I've always had the same friends since I was a kid. And I'm not antisocial, but I find it hard to fit in. I've had a lot of very strange habits since childhood."
He admitted that he has a hard time even saying "hello" sometimes.
"That's because I'm a shy person," Bad Bunny concluded.
Bad Bunny released his latest album 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos' on January 5th.
