Marv from "Home Alone" is no longer the criminal we all loved.
Anyone who has seen Home Alone, the iconic Christmas movie, knows that the first film is based on Kevin McCallister (Macauley Culkin), who is accidentally left home alone while his family goes on vacation in Paris.
While he lives alone, two burglars, Marv Murchins (Daniel Stern) and Harry Lime (Joe Pesci) try to break in and rob the McCallisters' multi-million dollar mansion.
Of course, eight-year-old Kevin had other plans and concocted a series of devious schemes to stop them.
The first movie "Home Alone" was released in 1990 and since then Stern has changed his appearance and career.
Stern completely abandoned his "life of crime" and now lives on a farm where he works as a farmer and sculptor, at least that's how he puts it, surprising everyone.
In a biography on his website, Stern wrote:
“As a child, I was a terrible student, but I excelled in all things artistic - theater, choir, band, ceramics and sculpture.
I dropped out of high school when I was 17 and moved to New York to become an actor. I got married and became a father when I was 23 years old.
I have done many great films, but there came a point where I missed my family. I decided to stop traveling, stay at home and focus on my family and my other artistic passions," he said.
@realdanielstern0 I thought I would share this work-in-progress video of a new sculpture I am creating. Thinking of naming it Dancer On A Chair, unless any of you have a better idea... Follow my backup account @Daniel Stern #foryou #goviral #clayart #danielstern ? original sound - Daniel Stern
Well if you're feeling nostalgic, take a look at this scene that might make you want to watch the full movie again:
