A new unique space for technology has been added to the capital, near the premises of the Pyramid. This Wednesday, One Albania has inaugurated One Connect Hub, an innovation and technology center that will promote cooperation between technology enthusiasts, innovators and startup creators.
In his opening speech, the executive director of One Albania emphasized the role of this center as a promoter of technological advancement and creativity.
"At One Albania we are very focused on empowering the community we serve. We believe that technology should be accessible to everyone", said Brano Djurovic, executive director of One Albania. "One Connect Hub is the way we support young people, startups and communities, offering an opportunity to different ecosystems throughout Albania to bring their proposals to this space."
As one of the largest strategic investors in Albania, 4iG group reaffirmed its long-term vision to create a digital future for Albania and beyond. Invited to this opening event, the Deputy Director Responsible for Telecommunications Strategy in the 4iG group, Tamas Tabori, expressed enthusiasm for the realization of this unique project, the first of its kind for the entire group.
"This center is not only an added value for Albania, but also a model of how technology and innovation can transform communities throughout the region. It is a great pleasure to support a space where ideas and cooperation can flourish and where technology can be used for the good of Albanian society," says Tabori.
The pyramid, which with its destruction over the years had taken on the appearance of an outdated relic of the past, is now the epicenter of culture, education and technology for young people. Commenting on this transformation, the deputy mayor of Tirana, Anuela Ristani, said that the new space created by One Albania offers a benefit for the entire ecosystem.
"Our task is to enable the best for everyone and this space offers this. I congratulate you, because One Albania, in addition to doing business, invests in the community, through the vision, resources, access it offers to everyone and this ecosystem of makes this environment better. This is a public good and we all benefit from this, managing to use our potential to the maximum," said Ristani.
One of the leaders of the Albanian-American Foundation for Development, Aleksandër Sarapuli, said that One Connect Hub serves the new generation.
"We have taken a step forward with our cooperation with One Albania, which has been a great supporter for us. The pyramid is a public space that belongs to everyone and we, through investments, are serving the new generation, those who have dreams, those who have goals.
One Connect Hub, as part of the Pyramid is one of the homes of those who dream.” - emphasized Sarapuli.
The hub features a dedicated podcast area open to all creators to share knowledge, discuss ideas and engage with a wider audience.
Also, One Connect Hub will have a virtual reality corner, where young people will have the opportunity to access entertaining and educational content, harnessing the potential of VR technology for education.
This center, open to young people, innovators and startups, will become a beacon of creativity, innovation and technology, where creativity and collaboration will flourish.
