Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's children have no plans to follow in their parents' footsteps. In an interview at the premiere of her new film, "Maria," the actress, 49, revealed that she is not expecting any of her six children: Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16, to become actors like their parents.
"I think they're very shy, very private people," she said, then added, "They want to remain private."
Earlier this month, a close source told PEOPLE that Jolie's children are her "biggest supporters." Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt dated in 2005 after filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith, marrying in 2014. In 2016, Jolie filed for divorce, leading to a difficult separation, especially for child custody issue. Allegations about Pitt's behavior, including an incident on a plane where he was alleged to have become violent, increased tensions between them.
Their divorce was finalized in 2019, giving them joint custody of the children. Since then, the two have focused on their careers and custody of their children, although disagreements have been ongoing.
