Arben Derhemi tells why "People and Fate 2" was not returned as a

Arben Derhemi, in an interview for "Taste of Home", spoke about "People and Fate 2" and, among other things, about the reason why it is coming back as a film and not as a series, as was originally rumored.

According to the actor, who plays the role of Flor in the film, the independent fund for the filming of 10 series was approved, but the deal was not completed, as it was never signed.

"It was actually approved a 10 series with a possible minimum of funds from Albanian Television, from the Governing Council and the Board with an independent fund. At the moment when the papers were being signed and the contract was being signed, the director who was there at the time left and another character came. He also ran away for two weeks and came the character who ran away a while ago. He did not want the Albanian Television to be the author of that sprout that he had made and that sprout that had turned all the spectators and viewers to the Albanian Television. He didn't want it for his own reasons, I don't know. He canceled all the funds", said Derhemi.

"These independent funds cannot go anywhere else, so all funds in Albania have the theory that "the penalty is mine, I will shoot it" and the director is who he is and he will definitely shoot it. He never signed, but he just lied all the time and I don't know why he lied. One says "yes" or "no", there is no reason to discuss because it was not something that was given to me or given to someone else. It was a product that the public loved, Albanian Television loved, so that it would necessarily turn the face of Albanian Television once again".

The actor also showed the reasons why the public loves "People and Fate" so much, saying that the reflected reality made people find themselves:

"It was such a real story that everyone found themselves in it, everyone found themselves in it, young men who were men found themselves in it, in their inability to break through life. Family members who found themselves in that strange family poverty that happens in Albania to this day and we don't want to show it", said Derhemi.

Then he added:

"That film was in a way a pure reflection of reality, a blunt reflection of what was happening in Albania and of the years that Albanians felt in some way good or bad, in this aspect".

The third reason, according to him, was undoubtedly the acting and the new approach of acting in a film:

"The third was the fact that there was some kind of influence on what was called telenovela and the way it was played, the family way, how the actors behaved was a new approach to acting in the film. Despite the fact that technically the film left something to be desired, but in the strictest sense of the word, in the acting, directorial sense, it was a film that was very similar to reality, this is probably the fact that they fell in love with it."

"Men and Fate 2" will come to every theater on November 1, 2024.
