After the next success that declared Selena Gomez the youngest billionaire, the artist has decided to talk about this chapter of her life.
"I'm very grateful," Gomez said in an interview with "Entertainment Tonight."
For her, it is not always pleasant to talk about money and financial positions, but Selena does not hide her gratitude to the people who made her dream come true.
"I think it's uncomfortable to talk about money. But the credit goes to the people who bought the products that have my signature. They are the ones who made this dream come true, so I'm really, really honored and just happy," said Gomez, referring to the cosmetics company, Rare Beauty, which accounts for 81.4% of the singer and actress' wealth.
Officially, Selena Gomez has a fortune of $1.3 billion, which ranks her among the youngest billionaires in the world according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Bloomberg, in assessing her wealth, considered her profitable ventures as an actress, singer and businesswoman.
The company also compared Gomez's success to that of her close friend Taylor Swift, who became a billionaire exclusively from the sale of records and tickets for her music tour.
