Actress Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are now a family of four. The couple announced the birth of their second child, via a surrogate, just months after the actress spoke publicly about her battle with breast cancer.
"Méi June Mulaney came into the world on September 14, 2024," the actress writes on Instagram, while she does not hide her excitement about the feeling of becoming a mother for the second time, especially after recent health problems.
"I had so many emotions, I was so afraid that I would be able to hold the girl in my arms. When I first met the surrogate mother, we talked like mother to mother. She showed me so much kindness and understanding that I felt like I had found an angel on earth. "Words cannot describe the gratitude that she was able to keep our daughter safe for nine months," writes Munn.

The famous actress and comedian shared on Instagram several photos with the newborn baby, but also with their son Malcolm Hiep Mulaney by the ocean.
We remember that for the actress, the last few months have been very difficult in terms of health, especially after she talked about a treatment against breast cancer, which included multiple operations such as a double mastectomy, plus a hysterectomy to remove the uterus and fallopian tubes.
Olivia revealed that after the last two interventions, she and her husband underwent the IVF procedure, where they created two healthy embryos, and the fact that they chose a surrogate mother to add to their family was a premeditated decision.
The name of the little girl, Méi, means "plum" in Chinese. The mother of the actress is of Chinese origin and in her post after the birth of the little girl, she as a grandmother wrote: "I am very happy for my plum little, my little dragon who made the first journey to be with us. My heart is bursting with emotion."
