The well-known actor says with conviction that the film "The Cut" tested every limit of himself and his life, even putting the latter in danger. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, while Orlando Bloom said that the protagonist role in this film made him think he was "going to die" due to the drastic weight loss.

According to the film, it centers on the story of a retired boxer obsessed with getting back into the ring, even if it costs him his life.

"I was very hungry all the time," Bloom tells People.

"The last three weeks in London, before we started filming, it was just tuna and cucumber," he continued.

The nutritionist of this film, during the filming, had put the star of "Pirates of the Caribbean" on a strict regime, precisely to drop the kilograms in order to gain the right weight for the protagonist role.

The actor's partner, singer Katy Perry, was shocked by his transformation. In fact, when she first saw him she was "just terrified," he said.
