In a recent interview for "Variety" magazine, the well-known actress talked about an aspect that actually hasn't affected her much during public appearances. According to her, while people have always perceived Demi Moore as a strong and confident woman, in fact the actress has struggled for many years with insecurities about her body and image.

The film "Striptease" and the covers of "Vanity Fair" were an impetus for him to fight facing this fear!

"One of the biggest misconceptions that has been floating around over the years was the idea that I loved my body too much," Moore explained. "The reality is that many directors cast me in projects or films to create a space for me to overcome this insecurity about my body. The same thing happened to me with magazine covers, which is not that I really liked them, but I considered them an attempt to to be freed from the slavery I had placed myself in,” she adds.

The actress says that after the age of 40, she changed her focus on herself and her appearance, accepting changes more easily, which also affected her career as an actress.

"The door to movies was a little bit closed to me in my 40s. I felt that, but I focused on another job, which this time was not my career, but myself. Working on myself completely changed my perspective on how I started I see and appreciate myself over time," the actress emphasizes.

For Moore, this period of life, i.e. after 60 is an age to write his own story and not what was once dictated to him based simply on the age factor.
