Videos of Bebe Rexha crying on Instagram have made the rounds of social networks. In fact, the whole story is related to an episode that the singer claims happened to her yesterday while waiting to travel by plane to her home in Los Angeles.
Bebe says she was discriminated against at a German airport, telling followers that she was not allowed by security guards to travel after she spoke Albanian to one of the security workers, and she calls this a "hate crime."
The artist shared the photos and videos of her crying from Munich International Airport in Germany, claiming that one of the staff members threatened her and stopped her from boarding the plane.
According to her version, Bebe says that she spoke Albanian to the security agent, as she thought he was Albanian, but faced tension and inappropriate vocabulary with all the airport staff.
"I was threatened because I thought the security agent was Albanian. I spoke to him in Albanian asking where to get the ticket and now he is stopping my flight," she said.
In a second video, Rexha adds that:
"I believe that this is a hate crime because I am Albanian. He continued to mentally abuse me to make me feel bad and that he was more powerful." We remember that the artist was born in North Macedonia, where the population speaks Macedonian and Albanian, while her mother is Albanian.
In another post a few hours ago on Instagram, Bebe has shown that she was contacted directly by the Lufthansa airline, but she is not satisfied with a simple "sorry".
"I have never been so emotionally devastated. @Lufthansa has contacted me directly but I urge them to do a full investigation to find out who this man is who is abusing his power. A 'sorry' won't do this time.”
