The singer and her ex-husband, Sokol Stafa, separated in 2021, after 25 years of marriage. At that time, various media reported that the cause was an extramarital affair of Staffa with a divorce psychologist, 20 years younger than him.

Alma spoke before in an interview for "Ora e pasdite" in Klan Kosova, where she showed that he was not present in the lives of her children.

"As for my divorce, I would not talk about someone who has been non-existent in my life and my children's life for a long time. I am a mother who devotes myself to my children all the time.
