You can experience it and not understand it: Here's what damage the air

Naomi Campbell doesn't stay in air-conditioned rooms and for good reason. If you stay in such a room - even if you don't know it - the skin undergoes changes.

You can experience it and not understand it: Here's what damage the air

Using air conditioners dehumidifies the air and over time, this dehydrates your skin and dries it out. Dehydrated skin, as a result of the epidermis being stripped of moisture, is less elastic and can be more irritated.

The body loses the ability to produce sweat when you are in an air-conditioned room. This leads to significant moisture loss. All this can cause wrinkles and fine lines, which become more exaggerated over time.

You can experience it and not understand it: Here's what damage the air

Staying for long periods in air-conditioned rooms can cause the skin to slowly lose its regenerative powers. When you move from such a room to a place with warmer air, the skin is "confused" and "stressed" because it is struggling to cope with the change in environment.

What you can do:

1. Use products that retain water, such as glycerin, hyaluronic acid to restore the water balance in the skin.

2. Use moisturizing hand and body cream.

3. Reapply sunscreen before going outside.

4. Drink a lot of water during the day.
