Tori Towey, who works in the United Arab Emirates as a flight attendant, was allegedly attacked by someone and suffered severe bruising and other injuries. Later, she was taken to a police station where she was told that she was being charged with attempted suicide and alcohol abuse.

The Irish government is working to have Tori released and sent home.
