Through a post on social networks, the Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu, announced the birth of the baby with the greatest weight in the last decade.

"The heaviest baby born in the last 10 years, near the "Queen Geraldine" Hospital. This baby was born weighing 6,150 grams," announced the minister.

The baby, who enjoys full health, was born through a successful natural delivery.

The weight of the newborn exceeds the average weight of babies at birth, which varies around 3.3 kilograms.
