Në një intervistë të fundit për Vanity Fair, Kate Winslet u kthye pas në kohë duke rikujtuar xhirimet e një prej skenave ikonike me aktorin Leonardo DiCaprio dhe disa prej tyre si shumë të sikletshme. Për puthjen e famshme, aktorja thotë se nuk ishte aspak romantike dhe ka një arsye për këtë.

"Ne nisëm ta provonim puthjen, por unë kisha një grim shumë të zbehtë. Dhe sa herë përfundoja skenën, më dukej sikur konsumoja një çokollatë me karamel sepse grimi i Leonardos ngjitej tek unë. Aktorja e “The Reader” theksoi se xhirimi i skenës së famshme të puthjes ishte më shumë se një “makth” dhe “rrëmujë e vërtetë”. Për aktoren britanike nuk ishte çudi asokohe që çdo vajzë e re në botë dëshironte një puthje nga DiCaprio, por asgjë nuk ishte siç mendohej apo dukej në film.

One of the most famous kisses of all time in world cinematography seems not to have been so romantic. This is at least if we take as a basis the statements of the protagonist actress in the movie "Titanic", Kate Winslet.

In a recent interview for "Vanity Fair", Kate went back in time recalling the filming of one of the iconic scenes with the actor Leonardo DiCaprio, describing some of them as very awkward.

At least for the part of the famous kiss, the actress says it wasn't romantic at all, and there's a reason for that.

"We started rehearsing this kiss, but I had very pale makeup on. And every time I finished the scene, I felt like I was drinking a chocolate bar because Leonardo's makeup was sticking to me. So it was like the whole scene of the kiss it was about redoing the make-up. If you've noticed in some of the photos, I've hidden the make-up brushes under my dress so I could have them as close as possible," says Winslet.

The actress of "The Reader" emphasized that filming the famous kiss scene was more than a "nightmare" and a "real mess".  

It was no surprise to the British actress at the time that every young girl in the world wanted a kiss from DiCaprio, but nothing was as it seemed or seemed in the film.

"At the end of the scenes I looked weird with my face full of messy makeup," she continues.

Kate reveals that makeup was not the only obstacle faced by the actors during the movie "Titanic". The actress also talked about the problems of fitting clothes to the body.

Winslet also remembers the many incidents with hitting her knee on the railings of the ship and the injuries she had suffered during the shooting of the film, but everything had to be realized according to the idea of ​​the famous director Cameron and for this there was no compromise.

"Leo couldn't stop laughing. We had to shoot a scene on the ship four times because of the light...Director James Cameron wanted the light to be specific and everything would be done according to his idea,” she concludes.
