Cher says men her age couldn't handle her, so she needs to date younger people. While giving an interview to Jennifer Hudson, the artist explains that she dates younger men as she is somewhat shy around men in general.
"And the reason why I deal with people younger than myself is because men my age have died, but before that happened, most of them couldn't approach me, they were terrified. While the young boys were raised by women like me, they are brave," said the 77-year-old.
Before sharing these details, Cher revealed that she has turned down Elvis Presley in the past because she was nervous about his reputation and knew what kind of people he hung out with.
The actress is currently dating musician Alexander "AE" Edwards, who is 40 years younger than her. They met at Paris Fashion Week in September 2022 and briefly split in May 2023. The couple reunited in September 2023, when they were seen holding hands in Los Angeles.
