Reading (even for a few minutes) is good for your mental health, experts say

According to recent studies carried out by "Queen's Room Reading", if you read a book for just 5 minutes a day, your mental health well-being improves by 20%.

The Independent confirms this theory with a recent publication revealing some ways you can read more if you are experiencing the phenomenon of not being able to read.

- Read the first chapter: if you have time without reading, start with small steps and increase the pace along the way.

- Schedule 20 minutes to read: Put the screens aside and dedicate just 20 minutes to a book.

- Read on the go: if you're traveling, or standing in a cafe, read.

- Join a reading group: This will motivate you to read more.

Reading the book is suggested to become part of your self-care routine, just like physical activity.
