The famous unfinished building, "La Sagrada Familia" could be finished in 2034 (which is not too far away if you think about it), architects say. Esteve Camps, the president of the organization responsible for the realization of Antoni Gaudí's grand plan, said that if everything goes according to plan, the central tower dedicated to Jesus Christ, which is 172.5 m2, can be completed in 2 years.

 
This also coincides with the death of Gaudi, who passed away in 1926. However, the total work with sculptures, decorations and other embellishments is expected to continue for another decade and be completed in 2034.

 
The building's staircase plans have been met with widespread opposition from residents and businesses, as if implemented, they could disrupt entire blocks of housing and businesses around the existing building, displacing 1,000 families and businesses.
 
The work is financed by admission bills that cost 25-40 euros and are paid by tourists who visit the basilica every year. Last year alone, 4.707 million people saw the architectural wonder up close.
