The ex-girlfriend of Meriton Mjekiqi and the mother of his son, Egesta, has reacted again on her Instagram account, where she expresses gratitude for the messages and support received from people, and says that the truth always triumphs.

"These days I have received endless messages about the latest situation. I have read them all and I am deeply grateful for the kind words and emotional support you have given me. It is not easy when private life is revealed in a format with so much public attention, especially when it comes to a child, but the truth always triumphs", Egesta wrote.

This is her second reaction after Meriton revealed that her son has autism. A day ago, she posted a picture of the 5-year-old boy and wrote: “Don't worry honey, the truth always wins. Coming soon…”, accompanied by an emoji signifying a bombshell news/detail.

While in an exclusive confession on "BBVA 3", Meritoni showed details of his relationship with his son and said:

"I have a lot of emotions when I talk about my son because I haven't heard or seen him in months. Not on camera, not up close. I was not present when my son was born. For the first time I sat on my knees and saw him through the phone because we did not have visas to go see him after his birth", he said.

Then he added:

"I apologize for not being able to be part of my son's birth. Due to the pandemic and some problems his mother had, I saw the boy when he was 2 years old. I find it very difficult to speak. First meeting, (I saw) a beautiful curly baby. I had problems with the boy's mother and I can't tell".

Meriton also revealed that his son has autism: "It's a cause I've never talked about, my son has autism," he said.
