The Grammy Awards ceremony kicked off the 66th edition with a mistake that may have gotten someone fired. The ceremony always starts at 5pm and to keep fans pumped, the official Grammys website tweets some of the award winners to avoid introducing them at the ceremony to save time for the performances. .
One of them was "Best Rap Song". The Academy announced Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice as the winners for the song "Barbie World", a big win for both rappers, but it didn't last long because the post was deleted and the winners were announced as Killer Mike ft. André 3000, Future and Eryn Allen Kane with "Scientists & Engineers".

It took so long for fans to lash out at the academy, calling them cheaters and reportedly pulling the award because of the feud that started between her and Megan Thee Stallion.
Meanwhile, media sources clarify that it is an innocent mistake and there is no conspiracy theory behind it.
