Yesterday, a 32-year-old woman was killed by a 34-year-old man, although she had ended the relationship with him. The 34-year-old, identified as Renato Muhaj, killed his ex-girlfriend in her home, in front of her minor daughter.

The girl was found around 8:00 am next to her father in his car and gave her testimony to the authorities. According to Euronews, the minor said she saw her father stab her mother several times with a knife and a brass device while she was in the bedroom.

The girl testified: I saw that mom died. I asked him (father) why he did it. He told me that he wanted her to die", adding that afterwards, her father hurriedly took her from the house and that at one point, due to haste and shock, she collapsed. The minor said that Renato violently dragged her to the concrete to put her in the car and as a result, she has marks and bruises.

Renato was charged with first-degree murder, child abuse and kidnapping, Police Chief Mike Soux said in a press release. American media reported the news, saying that the investigation began in the early hours of the morning and that the man hit the parents and forcibly took their phone so they could not contact the police for help.

The local police requested the help of the authorities in Largo and searched the house of Suela Saliaj, Renato's ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child, the 8-year-old little girl, Alessia. Authorities went to her home and found the girl dead. "Part of the investigation is still ongoing, but clearly, we are dealing with a murder," said Soux.

Since the little girl was not in the apartment, the police alluded that she might have been taken by her father. 5 hours later, around 8:00 am, they tracked down a car, the Kia Sportrage (2017), suspected to be his vehicle. Renato and Alessia were found in the car. He was immediately arrested and taken into custody, while the girl was taken to family members. How it was found is still unknown, as some media outlets report that it was found through a parking ticket, others by phone.
