Living for decades is seen as an extraordinary achievement, imagine when we say 100 years! It seems like something phenomenal, but it is becoming more and more common in the world. According to data from the Population Division of the United Nations, in the US until two years ago there were about twice as many people over 100 years old.

If you want to be one of them and make living to this age an achievable goal, then there is something you need to do.

"Longevity is often a personal preference, and typically, the healthier you are in old age, the longer you want to live," says Dr. Michael Krychman, an obstetrician-gynecologist. Sometimes, human relationships are what build the foundations of a long life, but beyond that, sex also has an impact.

Does sex help physical health and longevity?

We spoke to experts and they revealed how much sex you should have if you want to live long!

How much sex should you have per month?

"Have sex whenever you want," says Jillian Amodio, physical wellness expert. "Couple communication is also important to understanding what each person in the relationship wants and needs."

Okay so far, but people want to know the magic number. In general, couples have sex once a week. There is no accepted normal frequency, but some studies show that couples who have sex at least once a week are happier.

A study has revealed that couples have sex at least once a week, i.e. four times a month, and this is a moderately normal number to affect the couple's lifespan.

This does not mean that you may not "violate" this frequency, which goes according to your desire, but four times a month according to experts is an acceptable number that affects people's health and longevity.
