Several kilograms of food were confiscated and the legendary Spanish singer, father of Enrique Iglesias, was only detained for a short time.

Spain's La Vanguardia reports that the 80-year-old singer regularly travels with large amounts of food in his suitcase.

According to the Dominican newspaper Listin Diario, which quotes the Ministry of Agriculture, the decision was made to avoid any spread of parasites from abroad, which could have damaged local crops.
