4-year-old girl sets world record by climbing Mount Everest

She was not alone in this seemingly unusual journey for a young child, but Zara managed to overcome all odds to climb to the base of Mount Everest. Together with her father and seven-year-old brother, the little girl managed to complete the adventure, thus becoming the youngest person to climb Everest.

This was quite a challenging adventure of 273 kilometers and at an altitude of over five thousand meters. Her father, David Sifra, made sure to constantly check his children's oxygenated blood supply during the trip.

In the published photos, Zara can be seen walking next to her brother along with the stunning views of the Himalayas.

"There was no problem while walking. Zara, thanks to her good physical condition, managed to surpass other adventurers. How is it possible for a 4-year-old girl to physically and mentally cope with something like this?" said her father.

He said that Zara spent her childhood in Malaysia, so the lifestyle and terrain seem to have helped her prepare to complete the challenging climb and break the world record.

The previous record for the youngest person to reach the base of Mount Everest was held by Prisha Lokesh Nikajoo who was just 5 years old when she made the climb in 2023.

Regardless of age, climbing to Everest or even its base is very tiring for the body and can cause serious illnesses due to the high altitude.

Symptoms appear 6-24 hours after climbing to a terrain of more than 3,000 meters above sea level.
