Mira Murati is listed among the 25 most influential women in the world, according to the prestigious Financial Times.
"Mira Murati, the chief technology officer at the OpenAI company, is at the helm of digital transformation at the moment. Born in Albania, Mira now lives at the epicenter of the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence. "A woman running a tech company - Mira's story and leadership are as inspiring as the future-defining technology she oversees," wrote Marissa Mayer, co-founder and CEO of the Sunshine startup.
Mira was born in Vlora, grew up in Albania and moved to Canada at the age of 16 (according to Wikipedia). She graduated from Dartmouth University in 2012, majoring in mechanical engineering.
He inherited his passion for technology since childhood. In an interview, she stated that: "I have been interested in mathematics since I was little when I played video games, but since I grew up in Albania, it was not possible to go from theory to practice. So I studied theory first", showing how she found the way to her desire.
Mira's passion for technology predates her experience at ChatGPT. According to her LinkedIn account, Mira has been in charge of managing the product department, responsible for the X model at the Tesla company, for 3 years (2013 – 2016).
2 years later, i.e. in 2018, she also joined "OpenAi".
