Believe it or not, singer Cher is having a hard time with age and passing years. Aware that she cannot turn back time, the artist finds it difficult to accept the idea that she has already turned 77 years old.
During a recent interview, she was asked about her age, where she spoke honestly and admitted that the hit "Believe" is not that amazing.
"So you and age are not friends together?" a Today reporter asked. "No! My mom didn't have a problem. But I do. I hate it," she replied, referring to her mother, Georgia Holt, who died last December aged 96. "I would give everything to be 70 years old again," continues the singer.
Cher seems to have a hard time accepting the fact that 25 years have passed since the hit "Believe" was released. "It's not that amazing, although I know it can't erase that fact," she continued.
"Believe" was released in 1998 and stayed at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks, Cher reflected on her career spanning decades while currently in the process of writing a memoir.
"It's very difficult because I've lived so long and done so many things," she added.
