Being part of the royal family, apart from the privilege, also comes with a list of rules and don'ts! Kate Middleton is an icon of beauty and trends that she conveys in every public appearance, but it seems that in the make-up part there are six rules that she can never break.

#1 Not strong lipstick

Princess Kate always sticks to a range of light, pink and neutral colors when it comes to choosing her lipstick. Who can forget her look the day she wore her wedding dress in 2011? A shade of pink, just perfect!

#3 No heavy contouring

The royal family strictly forbids heavy make-up. The princess often chooses a contour with a glow effect on the face. The base of the skin is clear, while the cheekbones are slightly more pronounced, but not colored, but shiny.

Whether she's hitting the red carpet, or making a public visit to greet royal fans, Kate knows how to transition from day to night effortlessly. Her eye makeup is always bright and natural. The princess applies brush to the outer corner of the lower lash line, a matte eyeshadow and a little bit of color for the eyebrows.

 
#5 Hair must be well held

If we have anyone's hair envy, it's Kate. Long, brown hair rarely happens without being neatly held or styled in the right way. The royal family insists that the hair is not dyed, but always natural. Kate often chooses ribbons, silk clips, etc.  

 
#6 Make up is never touched

Getting ready for royal events is part of being a princess, which often means standing on your feet for hours on end, so she knows all the best ways to keep her makeup looking perfect throughout the day. A rule of the royal family is that women never touch their makeup in public.
