Robert Butler, the famous director of the films "Star Trek", "Batman", "Hogan's Horses" and "Gunsmoke" has passed away at the age of 95. He passed away on November 3, in Los Angeles, but the news became public days later.

His career spans 5 decades in cinema. He is the director of a number of films and series. "Hennesey", "The Dick Van Dyke Show", "Bonanza", "The Twilight Zone", "Hawaii Five-O", "The Blue Knight", "Hill Street Blues" etc. are just some of his masterpieces.
 
His creations also include 2 Disney films: "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" (1969) and "The Barefoot Executive" (1971), as well as "Turbulence" (1997).

Robert has won 3 Primetime Emmy Awards, two in 1974 and one in 1981. He also received nominations for episodes of "Moonlighting", "Sirens" and "Lois & Clark: The Adventures of Superman".
