The Super Bowl halftime show - the show after the first half in the most important drive of American football - will have as the main performer for 2024: Usher.
"It's an honor to finally do a Super Bowl performance," Usher said. "I look forward to bringing the world a show unlike anything it has seen from me before."
"Usher is a good artist and showman. Since his debut at the age of 15, he has embarked on a unique journey. Beyond the perfect songs and incredible choreography, Usher delivers," said JAY-Z, whose company, Roc Nation, is one of the organizers of the performance. "His extraordinary journey has brought him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can't wait to see the magic."
Usher follows Rihanna, who performed at the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime while pregnant. Before her, the stars of the show were Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and 50 Cent.
The 2024 Super Bowl Halftime will be held on February 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
